The University of Groningen offers a wide range of courses in international law at the Masters level taught by dedicated and experienced lecturers. The Faculty and University have a long standing tradition of law education as far back as 1614.

The LLM International Human Rights Law brings together courses which concentrate on international human rights and humanitarian issues. Our mission in teaching not only focuses on conveying specialised knowledge, but also on enhancing students’ academic research skills as well as oral and written presentation skills. This should prepare you for any type of future career in an international legal environment related to international human rights, such as in the United Nations and other international and non-governmental organisations.

The international LLB and LLM programmes of the University of Groningen attract students from all over the world.
