
Advice session in Newcastle upon Tyne
Have you considered getting a Bachelor's degree from a Dutch university? Are you keen to meet new people, immerse yourself in a new culture and be exposed to a different academic environment? Our advice session will provide you with all of the practical information you need to get ready for your degree in The Netherlands.
With over 1,500 English-taught programmes on offer at Dutch universities next academic year, where will study in Holland take you? Our opening presentation will give you an overview of where you can go and how to apply. You will also have the chance to receive one-to-one advice about your options.
This session is aimed at Year 11 and sixth form students who are interested in studying a full degree in The Netherlands, their parents and higher education/careers advisors.

Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, Mark is the founder and managing director of A Star Future Ltd. Over the last 13 years, his company has played a leading role in increasing awareness of and participation in international higher education amongst British students. By providing advice and guidance in a structured and appropriate manner he has seen intercontinental and intra-European mobility increase significantly.
Mark has advised over 50 universities and governments on changes in UK higher education policy and their impact on student behaviour. In 2011 Mark launched www.studyinholland.uk, a website dedicated to explaining the Dutch higher education system to British students, parents and careers advisors. The site now iudes information on every Bachelor and Master's degree taught in English in The Netherlands. He is a passionate believer in the benefits of international experience and can attribute much of his career success to living and studying abroad earlier in life. His mission is to make studying abroad just one of the many normal career options on offer to British students.
