You are interested in economic topics such as banking, the stock market or the consequences of Brexit. You dream of running an organisation or becoming an economic policymaker. You are quick to analyse and understand economic figures. You are open to international differences and are adaptable.
How can an enterprise like HTC acquire the funding to increase its investment in the telephone market? Should a government cap household mortgages? Why do European firms open branches in Asia? These are the kinds of issues that will be discussed in the Economics and Business Economics programme.
The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen ranks in the top 1% of business schools worldwide.
You can choose among three specialisations: Economics, International Economics and Business.
You will have the opportunity to take a minor from another faculty at the university or study abroad at one of our partner universities around the world.
The minimum entry requirements for this programme are three A-levels.
The FEB Careers Company will support you throughout your studies, with activities to prepare you for your future career. Many FEB alumni start their career as financial or asset manager, business development consultant, trading assistant, risk analyst, policymaker or researcher.
